I'm originally from China, and I pursued my first college degree there. Then I went on to UW - Madison to earn my master's degree in Library and information sciences. I've tutored students in Mandarin at the high school level, and I've also tutored elementary school level and middle school level students in math. When I'm teaching Mandarin Chinese, I like to introduce students to Chinese history and culture as well. Language learning can be fun, and I like to set up different interesting scenarios for the student to talk in the language and to keep them engaged and having fun.
